Seeing with eyes shut?

I have this weird thing where I close my eyes but I get confused because I keep seeing my environment, but when I feel my eyes, they're completely shut. Out of windows, the roof, the dresser, the person next to me are all seen but my eyes are shut. Does anyone else have this?

Is It Normal?

      If a vivid imagination includes seeing your little brother get out of bed and fumble about for his phone periodically, then no.
