  • I like you! You think like me, this all makes perfect sense to me. I put a lot of thought in this type of thing far to much as it is, such as gender roles, gender stereotypes, social norms etc..I sat here for an hour thinking of this more trying to cater an answer to what the root of this idea is, and every time I could trace it back to something in either my shorter or your thorough reply. This question is already answered. Everyone wants a full happy life. What is happiness to you? What you want for yourself or what your told you want.

    • Thank you :)

Happiness for everyone should be what they want for themselves of their own free thinking mind, not based on whatever programming and conditioning they have been subjected to throughout their lives. Sadly, only a handful of people really know how to step out of that zone and question the messages that are put out their.

The greatest freedom any person can ever have is the freedom gained by not caring what other people think. This is the first step to true fulfilment in life.

I always tell people to follow their bliss whatever it may be and not to give a rat's ass what anyone thinks at the end of the day. The second you stop caring about what other's think of you and the way you are the second they lose power over you and that's the second you reach true self liberation.

When it comes to body image more men and women need to start shedding and letting go of what they have been conditioned to think is attractive as deemed by society and should not base their worth as a man or woman by those ridiculous standards.
