No. Running in leather shorts is not normal.
Kate Moss runs in leather shorts, so why cant Jane?
Of course she can if she wants to, but something breathable would be more suited to the activity. Also, people who run regularly generally don't wear boots while doing it.
We tend to jog, more than run. The area is very rough, with brambles, rocks and even broken glass. hence we tend to wear Mustang or Timberland boots.
