Running into a pregnant woman

When i was little(around 8 years old i think), i turned a corner and ran into my aunt's belly. She was pregnate and pretty far into it because he r belly was quite big. She was in a lot of pain and i got yelled at and i felt really bad. a few years after the baby was born(she is now a toddler), one of her eyes have worse vision than the other eye. So she has to get glasses but one of the lenses are strongeer.

i can never forget this. is it my fault? i was just a kid and it was an accident.
do you think that they blame me for it?

Is It Normal?

  • There is no way that you hurt the baby. Trust me, the only one hurt was your aunt. And probably you if you bounced off and fell over :)

  • Hold on. THink about it. IF a baby was born "two years later" then it means its a different baby, so the first one didn't get born! That could mean that you did hurt her. But who knows, maybe you made a spelling mistake. You know babies take 9 months to be born, not 2 years? right?

  • The baby would have been well-protected by the mother's abdominal muscles, fat, uterine muscle and amniotic fluid so you wouldn't have damaged the baby's eyes!

  • Listen it's so not your fault! It was a n accident that has no affect on the eye. A baby's head is up by the boobs in a stomach so you probably spanked it! Lol don't worry

  • Not your fault. It's just genetics.

  • Do not blame yourself. Sometimes things happen. I know a child that has glasses from having one blurry eye and nothing like this happened to the mother.

  • Maybe yes. But you were a kid. It's not your fault.
