Seriously, what is it with black people when they get mad at their boyfriend or girlfriend, they always pour bleach on their ex lover's clothing? Or cut the clothes and shoes up? It's like a 'must do' whenever black people break up.
I watch the People's Court and all those judge shows and there's constantly black people on there suing over bleached and torn clothing. Never seen a white person with this problem.

lmao I am an African girl who has lived in America for the past 3 or so years. I have never heard of this bleaching of clothes thing but I find it funny anyways. But...ummm...YES, things are wayyyy different here. African men > Black American Men. PERIOD. So people who are injecting "Africa" into this thread, should just stop.

I know white guys that are like that though (hahaha), but by far and wide I think it to be more culturally acceptable for a black dude to spend $90 on a fucking shirt than it is for a white guy.

Thats just how it is OP when i was living in the south east side of compton, these run down torn apartments, ppl would always fuck each others shit up when drama went down...it always involved messing up someones property tho...
its not just clothes its cars theyd slash ur tires one guy had his entire windshield busted...the neighbors wife threw da guys clothes out da window and ripped it all...
yes they all black or latino...idk y they do this...im glad im out of the ghetto..but i never seen any "white" ppl do this in the years i been out da line...
Okay, but I'm black and I do not fit any of the stereotypes that they try to fit all African Americans under. There is a difference betweens observing people and seeing the differences in cultures and lifestyles and throwing an entire race into a group because they are a certain color. Racism is not something that makes you observant, it makes you ignorant.
You want to learn more on the different races of people? Study history learn more about a background. Grouping and stereotyping people is just ridiculous!
As humans we group and categorize everything. To include race. It's a natural part of the human existence. If we didn't have that trait, we would not have lived past the stone ago, example:
"Oh look, a lion! I hear that lions eat people, but maybe this individual one doesn't! Lets go pet him!"
I served with black people, lived around than and I can say with life experiences 99% of them are violent scum bags. I don't have the patients or time to interview every black person I see on the street to see if they are a good person or not. I have had experiences with them, I don't like them, and yes that makes me racist. It however does certainly not make me ignorant or stupid. Stupidity would be for me to constantly associate with people I find distressful, wouldn't you say? I am racist, I am however FAR from ignorant.
Does it really make me such a bad person that I prefer the company of my own people, and dislike others?
As I just said to another poster, I think the reason why KeddersPrincess would call you ignorant (and I'd have to agree with her) is because you unfortunately have dealt with the unpleasant black people. You couldn't have met more than a few hundred in your lifetime, if that. There are close to a billion black people. The few hundred nasty ones that you've met are a very very small fraction of the whole race. Not at all close to 99% so how can you say with certainty that 99% are scum bags? You don't know anything about the millions upon millions of other black people and you don't want to, and that is why you would be referred to as ignorant. I doubt me saying this will change your views but I'd like to point out that I am a black women, young (so it's not like I've matured with age or whatever), and never have I burned someone's clothes (I'm still surprised that people actually do that), I'm not violent and I'm not stupid either. I also grew up around a lot of other black people, and I don't act "ghetto". Most black children I knew had a father. I know as many single black mothers as I know single white/asian/mexican etc mothers. In general, all the stereotypes are mostly untrue in the case of the many black people I've come to know. Like I said, I doubt this will change your views but can you at the very least see why stereotypes would be annoying for those of us who aren't like that at all?
Again, more excuses. How does it make me ignorant that I avoid people who have given me a negative experience? Would you go make friends with an entire prison ward full of serial killers? No, you wouldn't. Because you avoid people who you see as bad. Your logic, as well as Kedders, is messed up. You say that because there is a few good blacks, I should just jump in head first and exhaust myself searching for one good one, just because they are black. It's like sticking your hand into a fire a million times because just MAYBE one time it may hurt less.

I know a lot of white guys that hate black people for the same reasons as you. You let one or two experiences shape your perception of the world andthat is very narrow-sighted. One day you will forget to avoid a violent group of your white brethren and you will wish you had looked at the world more wholisticly while they are smashing your face in the ground.
Well, I dated a black guy once and when it was over I noticed a pair of shorts and a hat he had left at my house. I took great joy in burning them, so i don't think its genetic. I think its just something they deserve much of the time. or perhaps its because they carelessly leave their pseudo-expensive highly cherished clothes... You know... Wherever...without thinking of consequences. I never burned any of my white boyfriends' clothes, but coincidentally I only had one shirt of a white boyfriend in my possession, but I loved him too much to ever burn that.
No offense. I was just speaking from personal experience. If someone cheats, lies, uses me and jumps me at a store with his girlfriend while my three month old daughter is squirming around in her car seat, unbuckled because I was breastfeeding her, the least I could do is punch the bitches in the face and burn his clothes.
Also,.I wanted to point out that I don't think this is at all a genetic thing. I honestly think the media has a lot to do with the negative behaviors that can be observed in a large number of black people. They are just trying to to the coalesce to the expectations of other black people who have succeeded, but it's cooler to try to fit into Wayne's world than to live the King's dream. Sadly, too many black people buy into the idea that they need to get shot 50 times to succeed in life. It would be the same if the tables were turned-if white people were portrayed as gang-banging hustlers after years of oppression.
Because he was black... Also,.my sister dates black men exclusively and i've seen her burn clothes on more than one occasion. I don't let that experience shape my perception of ALL black people. I think it must depend on location how often this burning of clothes ritual occurs because if you lived where i lived and dated an uneducated black male who is "bout that life", you would probably end up burning his clothes too. That is all.
