  • I've heard that in dreams, all the characters within the dream are representations of yourself. Try thinking about different aspects of yourself and see if anything comes to mind about why you could possibly be seeing something so frightening in your dreams and how that plays a part in your waking life. Dreams and nightmares alike are amazing because they can be used as tools to better understand yourself as a whole, if you're experiencing difficulty in waking life, dreams may help you work through your troubles. I feel that if you can put a positive spin on a not so great experience, then you can find your way out of it quicker. Hope this helps:)
