I think it would be very normal for someone to regret that, especially those that have now been labeled a sex offender for life. I don't think it'd be normal to not regret that, however it would be even more normal to not have sexual abused anyone in the first place

Some never regret it and excuse it by saying the child wanted it or enjoyed it or it was for the child's own good.
I guess I'd know better if I had sexually abused someone, my guess would be shortly after it was over. You should give more details to your story..
