Do you have any preferences when it comes to when you would rather receive oral sex?
-before coitus/intercourse: oral sex as a way to increase your arousal, then having your orgasm(s) during intercourse (penis in vagina) or anal sex...
-after coitus/intercourse: having sexual intercourse (penis in vagina) first and then having oral sex as a way to reach your own orgasm(s).

For the purposes of this poll, imagine that there is no possibility to get pregnant or catch any STDs during this sexual encounter. If you like it both ways (before and after), please try to pick up the option which you´d rather have more often or in more cases, eventually right now if you could have such an encounter as described above.

Interesting question; I'd be glad to offer my perspective.

The first thing this man likes to do when meeting a woman who attracts me is eat her. That's what it would be if I had my choice of one thing only. If she's smelly, it makes me really horny and I'll want to ejaculate in her. Moreso if I can tell she's been with someone recently. And the taste after filling her is always heavenly.
So I generally prefer to perform oral over intercourse, but prefer to cream her vagina than to pop in her mouth.

As for receiving, it really enhances the experience when she performs oral on me prior to intercourse. I find the best way to prepare both of us is to '69' with her on top so she can control the intensity of both ends. I like it when she orgasms to my mouth then I gently lick up the trickles.

I like returning to '69' afterward, usually after waiting to go soft inside her, and enjoying the mixed juices, while she enjoys the sensation of gentle slurping or goes for the next orgasm.

I like oral then sex. It makes it feel better, however, I don't last long after that. That whole "multiple orgams" thing doens't work with me.

  It might seem silly then to enjoy him licking you afterward. That's why I would lick gently around the outside first and get that residue first, then gently probe the folds, working toward the center, and avoiding the clitoris. You on top helps more of the deposit to work out, and allows you to control the depth and location to your best enjoyment. Of course, telling me what is feeling best right at the moment helps too!

I am a guy and do not need to receive oral from my girlfriend. I for some reason love to give her oral before intercourse. It is a major turn on for me. If we 69, then I am alright with receiving oral at that time only.

  The fetish doesn't really do something for me, but hey, if you get to go another round, you usually don't complain, if you know what i mean.
  
  But thats about the receiving part...about the performing: I prefer to give oral first, then end with intercourse.
  Exception: If i am not in a place where i can reasonably clean myself/rush to a toilet or something like that, i prefer the "cleaner" finish of oral.

      haha, ya, it's funny that i completely left that out. When i read "intercourse" i automatically considered it to be a male+female protagonist-question.
      
      As for the importance of oral: Maybe slightly more so than in a heterosexual partnership, but there's the same spectrum of different views.
      What i'm trying to say: Some people don't really care about it, some don't want it, some love it and desire it. I think if and how a person enjoys giving or receiving oral is a very individual thing.
      
      It's harsh to find it disgusting, especially if you never really tried? But what IS true is that we do taste quite differently. Some girls have a good taste and smell and make you want to bury your whole face between their legs, and others you wonder how to switch to something else without being too obvious the moment you start.
      
      So again, not only invididual thing about each person, but quite possibly also influenced by the potential partners.
      
      Long story short: Sexuality is important in every partnership. Oral MAY play a more prominent role in lesbian life, but by no means HAS to. Matter of fact, i love manual stimulation(fingers) best. It can be done in almost every environment, can be done quite quickly, leads to a wonderful chemical release nonetheless and doesn't "require" anything of me.
      (But again, thats something individual. Not to let the last sentence be misunderstood, i LOVE giving, but sometimes, it's also very nice to ONLY give or ONLY receive, and focus utterly on oneself or the partner)
