Do you believe in reincarnation? Perhaps you were a dog in your past life and are having dreams about it because in your sleep state you are able to remember things like that more clearly. I have always had dreams where I am different animals too. I asked other people if they had ever had any dreams where they werent themselves and nobody I have talked to but me has had these dreams. Maybe we were both animals in our past lives.
