Blame Hugh Heffner. The idea that the blonder, the hotter. When really, all old women have blonde hair now to try to attract a guy. Blonde is the new gray.
It is amazing that we are all so superficial that good looks can equal how the media has programmed us.

I had a few friends like that. They were big and had no personality, but they were blonde. So many guys wanted them for that
