Wow, that sounds pretty amazing to me. I'm not sure that I would have the courage to do the same. I do not think it is normal, but I do think it is a good thing that you did. I wouldn't recommend putting your life in danger, but if that is what you feel you have to do then there is probably nothing I could say that would stop you anyway. If you do decide to continue, then good luck with your adventures. Maybe you will be able to share some more stories in the future :)
