I love being an American, and having a car of my own. I seriously wouldn't change it for anything! I haven't ridden a bus in nearly 30 years, and I could probably count how many cabs I've been in during the course of my life! Murica!
Well, it's not like we don't have cars here :)
I've been riding the train to school and work every day for almost 10 years. I like it, actually. You don't have to concentrate on anything. You can just relax, look out the window and listen to some music.
... Or sometimes listen to some fucked up conversations, I guess.
You've never been to NYC. You'd have to more than likely leave your car in a parking garage somewhere and take a cab, a bus , or the subway to your destination. There's no such thing as a convenient parking space in NY. But I still love NY.
I love my Buick! My stupid ex rear ended some Russians, and totalled their car, but there wasn't even a scratch on mine, except the cup holder which my ex broke, because he's an idiot.
Racists on a Train. What should I have done?
