Dude... you need to seriously re-read what I wrote. I specifically said my argument did not have to do with round capacity. I don't care about the six shot thing in particular. Fair enough? Just to be clear, I didn't create this post. I am not the OP. I didn't come up with the six shot thing.
This is typical. All I hear from people who try to bash me in gun arguments is "Moron, idiot, ignorant, don't know what you're talking about.. etc" But you only say those things because there aren't too many good arguments against what I am saying. I think my approach is pretty reasonable, which is why there isn't much you can say about it. It's really pretty neutral.
You try to bash my argument based on my qualifications rather than the substance.
I've read and reread your responses and I can't find the substance. Obviously with 20k laws and there are still tragic shootings laws aren't the answer.
And just to be clear I'm far from a "gun nut". Not a NRA member. I enjoy target shooting and hunting with my friends. I also enjoy knowing I won't be a victim. I break no gun laws and am not a danger to any one that isn't trying to hurt me. More laws like you suggest would only serve to make me a law breaker.
I give up trying to fight you guys on this. I've had this discussion with people who are into guns before and it always is a never ending cycle.

But then again, like I said, I think I was pretty reasonable with what I was saying and you can either choose to kinda see my point, or you can turn the other way.
