Why is it not okay to just say excuse me and then plow on through? That's what I do, and it works for me. I can't expect people to read my mind, and be constantly anticipating my next move or need. Like I said earlier they're too wrapped up in their own stuff to know or care about my wants or needs. I think you're expecting way to much of total strangers.
How is this obsession of yours with poor manners of complete strangers working out for you? Is this helping you in some way, how so?
Public etiquette. People are assholes.
