This is more like an advice question than an 'Is it normal to' question, I suffer from Psoriasis on my scalp which is sort of like itchy, flaky scalp but kinda of an under-the - skin problem - it's a little hard to describe - suffers will get me. Any suggestions for shampoos etc, I already use Neem shampoo which is okay, but not great. Useful feedback only thanks, my appreciation :)
My boyfriend has the problem too. He uses something that ends in tar. I can't quite remember but it works really well even though it smells really bad. You can get it at a shoppers it's in a brown bottle. Use another (scented) type over it and the smell and psoriasis is gone. Also your doctor should be able to give you advise on what to use depending of the type of psoriasis and severity.
I wrote this on another story asking for help on this problem and my fiance has a bad problem with this. I will try to kick her in the butt to write to you.
So far, we have found nothing that works and the dead skin is rather annoying to clean up after she gets done scratching it off.
I used to know somebody who suffered from psoriasis and it really does seem to be a very troublesome condition.
