Alternative account?
I couldn't find anything in the guidelines that alternative accounts are against policy (strangely), but I have never seen a reason why an alternative account should be allowed.
The concern is you could create multiple alternative accounts and then click up your respect on posts or even down on other users! It seems it should not be something that is 1. Normal to everyone, 2. Allowed when you have 'problems' using this site.
When you have problems it would be wiser to 'contact' IIN staff, and not make posts polls or anything on the site itself.
IIN if this website has problems? No, not from what I've seen for a reasonable amount of time. If YOU have problems contact IIN staff ;)
The consensus here among all of the regular users is that "management" is no longer available to solve problems with the site. So, it can be more efficient to make a post about it. The users here are quite helpful with offering solutions to website problems.
As far as alternate accounts go, no it isn't against the rules. Of course, there are plenty of people that abuse the privilege. I just don't like doing it, unless I'm doing it as a joke. I personally find it disingenuous, although I don't really have a problem with other people doing it to preserve their anonymity or whatever.
