Probability of success

If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you'd find leading a more satisfying life than yours? How do you personally define success/happiness in life?

  • Depends on my mood, sometimes I feel like I'm on top of the world, other times I feel like I'm doing nothing with my life.

  • I'm the first to pick 1/4. For some reason that makes me feel special. Although I think somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 would be just as satisfied.

I could be happy here or there.
    I could be happy anywhere.
I could be happy in a house.
I could be happy with a mouse.
I could be happy with a fox.
I could be happy in a box.

I'd succeed in tree or car.
I'll be successful in the dark.
I'll be successful on a train.
I feel successful in the rain,
    find satisfaction with a goat
and true happiness on a boat.

Only eating green eggs and spam,
    I'll be happy, that's who I am.

  • I believe we are incarnated for a reason and success is succeeding in whatever that reason was.

    • For many people, purpose in life is not easily realized nor ascertained therefore making it rather difficult to embark on a pathway to "success". For thoes who struggle to discover purpose and their being in life, how does one go about defining the ambiguous meaning of success let alone accomplishing such a blind pursuit?

  • Living a successful and happy life is finding peace with your decisions.

  • "Probability of Success"

    Success depends mostly on persistence.

With almost all things in life never quit and you'll succeed.

  • I feel i have a pretty good life

I don't have too many problems, i earn decent money for my age, i can say im relativley good looking, i have great friends, a home, hobbies, a mom that cooks for me... but i feel really depressed because im fucking up my exams.

It's strange how i have all of those things but im still miserable

  • career = great success
    education = success
    love/relationships = absolute fail

does any of it matter? nope. not after my son was born. he made my life complete.

guess it depends on how you personally measure success.
