A foetus is not a child and the alternative to abortion is compulsory motherhood - not good for the woman, the subsequent child or society. "These people" aren't putting their own lives before that of a child, but that of a foetus.
The reason I asked for your views on capital punishment and war was because I was curious to know if you're as concerned about the killing of adults as you are of foetuses.
