Ive heard some say that killing a fetus is the same as killing a born person, and I've heard some say something along the lines of "it's just a fetus."
My question is for "pro-lifers" who believe that terminating a fetus is the same as terminating a birthed person. If the fetus is aborted in the very beginning of the pregnancy, say the day your pregnancy was confirmed after a missed period, do you still hold the same belief? And if so, do you feel the same about the plan B pill?
Is there really more to the fetus when it's that early? Seems like it's just a sperm inside a egg at that point. Perhaps I should look up the development stages of a child..
Plan B stops ovulation, and/or prevents joining of the gametes, and/or prevents implantation in the uterine wall. It depends on the stage of your cycle as well as how quickly you take it.
It is definitely not an "abortion pill." (I'm not saying you called it that; I've just heard people misunderstand Plan B before.)
