  • How about some statistics on that? You're talking rubbish.

Are you also opposed to war and to the death penalty or like most "pro-lifers" are you only concerned about foetuses?

    • I do not see how my stance on capital punishment and was is relevant in this discussion.
You asked me for statistics, well a quick google search for 'abortion statistics' lead me to this site (you could have performed the said search as opposed to assuming my statement was 'rubbish').
      www.abort73.com/abortion_facts/us_abortion_statistics/
Now, my original statement came from anecdotes and experiences but appears to be confirmed.
"On average, women give at least 3 reasons for choosing abortion: 3/4 say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; about 3/4 say they cannot afford a child; and 1/2 say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner (AGI)."
Convienience, comfort. Thinking about our own needs and wants rather than those of the child as well. As you can see, these people think work, school, relationship status are all more important than a child, and will happily have their child killed if it interferes.
It's quite selfish, being given the shot at life we were given by our parents, denying the same privilege to others.

      • A foetus is not a child and the alternative to abortion is compulsory motherhood - not good for the woman, the subsequent child or society. "These people" aren't putting their own lives before that of a child, but that of a foetus.

The reason I asked for your views on capital punishment and war was because I was curious to know if you're as concerned about the killing of adults as you are of foetuses.
