I don't think that's very fair. Would you condone the murder of said child after it's born?
The issue here (and I think it's a valid one) is where does "human life" begin exactly? I'd agree that conception is too early, but you have to draw a line that's relatively arbitrary somewhere. Is the end of the second trimester the best place? It's difficult to say.
