So my mum has said many times, in order to have a "proper" relationship you have to have sex with the person your with. I'm too scared too. Even my mum was bitchy about my sister still being a virgin at 21 (Mum said "Its a bit weird, usually people have sex younger than 21")
I know I'm not ready for sex!
I did research apparently,the average age in the UK to lose your virginity is 18 that's okay I guess and even in my favorite country it's at least the age of 22 (wish I was in that country). I do feel pressured by my mum a little. I also lied and said that I have already had sex, she believed me but hate the fact that I had to lie, so I don't have to feel uncomfortable when mum talks about this stuff. What do I do?

    That's really weird, you should let her know she makes you uncomfortable. A mom shouldn't be doing that to her kid.

    People will put you under pressure to do all sorts of things in life. Just keep saying no until you're ready to say yes. Your mum should be proud of you instead of putting you at risk from unwanted pregnancy and std's. It's really no one else's business anyway.
