  • The human brain is a curious thing. The subconscious can pick up on things which the waking mind would never see, hear or feel. Scientists still don't know much about the mind's workings.

I myself have similar experiences. I think of a person and within a day I have seen them or heard about them. I think of a song, movie or topic and all of a sudden I hear it on the radio, see it advertised or someone begins talking to me about it.

These things happen in some extent to everyone. The difference between you and someone who could call themselves psychic would simply be how well their waking mind is tuned in to their subconscious. We are being blasted with influences from everywhere - it's simply how well we can decipher them. Some people may have deja vu from time to time, others may predict things - it's normal and the fact you've noticed it goes to show that you are more aware of your subconscious than many others.

    • It just happened to me today. Last week, for no reason at all, Kareem Abdul Jabar popped into my mind. I am not a basketball fan. I don't watch or participate in any sports. I don't know WHY his name popped into my mind. I hadn't heard it or read it. I even looked up what his name was before he changed it and ended up reading his bio on Wikipedia.

Then, today in the news....there he was splashed all over all of the channels with the sad news of his having leukemia.
