  • God, are IDT still going? The WinChip was the worst processor ever made. A processor that relies on an application not doing much processing? It's like having a kettle that relies on people not liking hot drinks.

To answer the question, though, I'm an AMD boy.

  • I would never buy intel or Amd Cpus, it's Centaur Technology where it's at.

  • Intel.
Though, I have an X4 640 in this machine. (kick myself in the foot)
We'll see what Bulldozer brings to the table.

  • AMD have good value for money, Intel are all about performance.

For an enthusiast such as myself I find my AMD CPUs don't last very long before I want to upgrade again, so I'm going for an Intel CPU next time.

  • I prefer AMD. No real reason though.

    • Apple? So what you actually are saying then is Samsung since they make the CPUs for Apple.

      • I don't follow the whole technology company thing... My iPad says apple, so I'm saying apple. The rest is just confusing,,,
