They also prominently participated in the Tompkins Square riot in 1874 and helped tackle unemployment crisis. A very impressive resume for their generation, as with all the generations between 1742 to 1924 who were among the best ever to have lived and have contributed most to build the world. They endured times of hardship and worked to make the world a better place for future generations, that is us.
