  • The debt thing is probably exclusive to the US, I'm a Millennial and I don't have any debts, most of my friends don't have any debts. Where as Gen Z expect to just get into the tech market and magically transform into super hackers and be the next Mark Zuckerberg, or Bill Gates and set themselves up for life. And when life gives them a big middle finger, they fall down harder even than the worst of the Millennials.
I'm one of those Millennials that worked to get what they have and will continue surging forwards, cause I know I can do better.

    • I agree with you it's crazy how z is looked at as the savior generation.

      • it depends on who you ask, its all very arbitrary, I just recently saw a so called " generation theory expert" who claimed "generation z is worse than the millennials." i think 80% of it is all hogwash, just the old and jealous shitting on the young, it happens to every generation.

    • The debt this definitely isn't exclusive to the US sadly :/
After the global economic crisis around 2008 a lot of countries suffered, and because of a lot of political upheaval from brexit and huge, sudden increases in student loans, the UK is really suffering too.

    • Student debt is kinda a US problem because the democratic establishment wanted to pay for underprivileged classes schooling, so the schools and colleges increased the price so the government needs to fork over more etc and that’s how we are here in this predicament.

      • And student debt is a problem because it's completely predatory, you're clearly a Trumper idiot that's totally out of your depth.

      • That’s an interesting theory considering tuition prices didn’t really skyrocket until the economy crashed and state governments were forced to give less money to schools, which meant they had to charge students more to make up for it.

Even so, most developed countries help students pay for school. The difference for many of them is that the government caps tuition just like they control health care prices. But certain US politicians love capitalism and the so called free market(most of them are in one party and it’s not the Democrats) and the result is paying twice the price for an inferior education and subpar health care.
