    I don't celebrate Christmas. I rather someone not say merry christmas to me. If you were in Israel, I'd hope people wouldn't assume since there are multiple religions there.

      Sure, you'd prefer it, but you can't have everything the way you want all the time.

      If someone you didn't know wished you a Merry Christmas on the 25th of December whilst you were out walking, would you be offended? Would you say Merry Christmas back? How would you react?

        I'd say Merry Christmas, back but I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape that some people who don't celebrate christmas don't like it.

          Hey you're perfectly entitled to dislike Christmas, or to dislike people wishing you a Merry Christmas - but at the same time, people who wish you a Merry Christmas are usually just doing so to be polite.

          So there's no need for anybody to get 'bent out of shape' over such silly little things :)
