  • I don't celebrate Christmas. I rather someone not say merry christmas to me. If you were in Israel, I'd hope people wouldn't assume since there are multiple religions there.

    • Sure, you'd prefer it, but you can't have everything the way you want all the time.

      If someone you didn't know wished you a Merry Christmas on the 25th of December whilst you were out walking, would you be offended? Would you say Merry Christmas back? How would you react?

      • I'd say Merry Christmas, back but I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape that some people who don't celebrate christmas don't like it.

        • Hey you're perfectly entitled to dislike Christmas, or to dislike people wishing you a Merry Christmas - but at the same time, people who wish you a Merry Christmas are usually just doing so to be polite.

          So there's no need for anybody to get 'bent out of shape' over such silly little things :)
