When you say you hate political correctness, what you mean is that you hate it when people force you to confront the fact that your opinions/behaviours are problematic as opposed to allowing you to keep pretending everything is fine. Your anger at "morality police" can only come from the fact that you know deep down your position is morally indefensible but refuse to abandon it. Classic cognitive dissonance - it's easier to lash out at the immediate external source of discomfort ("political correctness gone mad!") than it is to think introspectively.
I am not a closeted racist if that is what you are trying to say, I just don't understand why you now have to sing "ba ba rainbow sheep" instead of "ba ba black sheep". Now you have to say LEDC or MEDC instead of 3rd world, how many people in the 3rd world actually care and how much is it just people who think that they know what is best for the world.
