Mad Dad who is Polish once saw my Mom's grocery list and said "What's this? Polish remover?"

It's spelled the same, so yeah.

Ha ha, that's quite funny. I knew someone years ago who called women holding hands or being affectionate Lebanese because he had the word mixed up with Lesbian (he was a secondary school teacher by the way!).

HOW IS THIS A PEOPLE PROBLEM?. Go buy yourself some POLISH SAUSAGE and cook it without the exhaust fan on. Inhale deeply, notice the smell, and think about what you just wrote for the next several hours. That should take care of the problem. It has nothing to do with people.

What do you see when you see "bow" or "lead" or "lie" or "fair"? How about "bass" or "tear"?

How is this a people problem? Go buy yourself a bottle of nail polish and pour it out in an empty pie tin in your home. Inhale deeply, notice the smell, and think about what you just wrote for the next several hours. That should take care of the problem. It has nothing to do with people.
