Honestly, you've got to give your mother a reality check. Let her know, look, I LOVE YOU, but i need to love myself (yeahh corny but true) you need to get out and start a life for YOU. visit the kids, spoil them when you see them, but let momma know, youre an ADULT, you need to put aside your business and do what needs to be done instead of putting too much weight on me. youve only got your younger years for so long. pretty soon theyll be gone, and what will you have left? you wont have enough fundamentals, enough experiences of FUN that any pain seems too much. because youve been hurt so much, you wont be able to take that later, which youll need to know how to. its just, you gotta prepare yourself, have as much fun now because you wont later. you gotta get out, politely, lovingly, but you gottaaaa get out
