Great Scene! De Niro really is just the best! I'm not entirely sure why, but I also really love the scene where you get introduced to everyone. I just love the whole thing, to be honest. I haven't seen it in a while, I want to watch it again.
Noooo! Don't get me started talking about this film. The introduction scene is fantastic. It's kind of shot "to" the camera, isn't it, and you feel like they're being introduced to you personally. Anything with Joe Pesci being funny slays me too (he does comedy so well), and I love Henry pistol-whipping that guy who has been messing around with Karen. He comes walking back across the road like an angry bull and every time I see it, I just think, "Jaysus!" Oh, and that tracking shot through the back door of the restaurant, through the kitchen, right to the table. You keep waiting for the camera to change. Oh, and the discovering of all the bodies to the piano section of Layla? How did they think of that? It's perfect. In fact, the music is great all the way through.
P.S. Casino has got loads of the same actors as Goodfellas. :D
Pick the best movie out.
