One, although I don't think there is anything wrong with waiting until marriage, thinking your first time is going to be "special" is really something we need to get out of people's heads. Putting so much emphasis and sacred context around a woman's virginity does things to girls, and most, if not all, will not consider their first time a very remarkable moment in their lives. In fact, I would argue most of those who have sex for the first time probably don't spend the rest of their lives with that person.
Two, if someone wants to wait until marriage, that is their own prerogative. With all the STDs that are out there, child support, latchkey kids, children born out of wedlock, and idiots having children prematurely because they are too irresponsible to properly use birth control, we really should let these people be.
