I'm in my mid 60's so here is a go.

Your future 1st depends on your ability to communicate effectively people: In person, on the internet, via video-conference, etc.
    - Start reading books, take lessons, etc. on how to communicate and invest some time every month on working to get better (How to Win Friends & Influence People In The Digital Age is a good starting point).

You were born to have an impact on this world. That rarely is from a job (jobs just provide income to live). Think about what it is that you want to do to Impact and improve the world. Then find a way to do it.

You don't get anywhere you want to go by accident. You have to have a goal, an initial plan, and often you have to revise the plan many times due to life (Life is usually what happens after you make other plans). Persistence pays long term.

Happiness is achieved when you are successfully progressing on a worthwhile plan to achieve a worthwhile goal.

"We are all good at something. But, most people never get good enough at the things that could make them wealthy." Bob Andrews

It will take you time and effort to learn how to do anything worthwhile; and that is so worth it once you do so!

Everyone has problems in life! You get to decide if you are going to have problems going somewhere, or problems going nowhere.

The education system in the Western World is set up to create employees for the businesses and factories. It is not set up to teach you how to become personally successful in life (and the education curriculum intentionally does not teach personal success principles). A job is not designed for your personal success; it's designed for the companies success.

You will have to study Success outside the educational system; and there are multiple places that do teach success principals.

Success is optional in life. It's OK if you decide not to be successful. However, the pathway to real success is not optional, and consist of self education and work.

There is no perfection, there is no absolute excellence. There is only progression or regression. Are you progressing over time, or regressing? Excellence is the term most often used when a person (or team) is continually progressing towards a meaningful goal.

If you start a business: You cannot expect business results until you develop good business practices.

The average self employed successful business owner makes about twice the income as the average employee in the Westernized countries.

Ignore the question that you have been asked all of your life on "what do you want to do" in life? It's the wrong question. Many people don't even know what all the choices are that they could do, and the often find that the "career" they chose will not support their expected lifestyle and life - so they have to cut their dreams down to their income.

The right question that you need to ask yourself is: How do you want to live your future life. What do you want to do and with whom, what kind of impact do you want to have.

Once you have defined that: Then start looking at the options that would provide you that dream lifestyle and activities that you want. There exist in most countries in this world options that would allow you to live your dream life.

Stay away from anyone who does not support your dreams and goals. Flee them (and avoid seeing them) if they cut you down and tell you that you can never achieve what it is that you want to achieve. You might not be actually able to achieve your ultimate dream... but, you can certainly get most of the way and will live a much happier, productive, and impactful life on the way.

Big dreams and goals cost you no more than little dreams and goals.

I wish you all the best success in life,

“You get to decide if you are going to have problems going somewhere, or problems going nowhere.” I needed to read this today, I’d rather have the problems that come from trying than the ones that come from giving up. Cheers.

    1) Don’t get hung up on materialism. It’ll all be worthless someday anyway. 2) Value you friends and family. They’re the only way to happiness. 3) Learn as much as you can, in any way you can. Don’t fritter your life away partying.

Listen to the quiet people. Those are the people who normally have something to say and point that will be valid for a long-term.

Others talk just to hear themselves and normally have little to say.

Pay attention to history it can save you a lot of time and missary.

Some of us aren't sixty yet but just passing stuff we learned from our elders.
