People think i'm 14, does this happen to anyone else?

Ok. So I'm a 20 year old female going on 21 in a few months. I'm fairly short at 5'2 and everyone seems to think I'm in the 14-16 range, which gets pretty frustrating since people tend to talk down to me assuming I'm younger than them. I also have to show my id multiple times to get into R rated films. I also have concerns about some of the men that have expressed interest in me, especially since one didn't know how old I was when he asked me out. Do any of the other shorter women out there have this problem or is it just me?

    That happened and I'm neither short nor a woman. 21, six foot tall, and people keep asking what I think of high school.

    Happens to me all the time. No one ever believes my age until I show them my id

    I have to show my ID sometimes for lotto tickets. I'm 28 and sometimes people mistake me for 16. It's annoying, but at the same time I kind of enjoy having a youthful look.

    I went to the outback steak house(i think that's what it's called) before and was handed crayons and a coloring page

    I went to Denny's and was given the kids meal and some crayons

    I went to a store in the mall and was given a free balloon... The same kind of free balloon the employee gave to the 8 year old and 10 year old that was in the store

    If I go to Mc Donald's with someone the person taking the order will ask the person I'm with if they want to add on a happy meal for me

    I don't mind though because there's perks too. I mean I'm not gonna turn down free crayons, balloons, and discounted meals and movies¯\_(ツ)_/¯(I actually turn down the discounted meals and movies... I can't live with that kind of guilt(｡ŏ_ŏ))

    not to brag or anything but because i'm curvy, although i'm short, no one ever assumed i was under aged or anything

      Lucky pfft
      I'm in the process of trying to lose weight. I had a pretty good figure when I was younger, so with any luck that'll show when I'm down to what I want to be.

    I can easily pass myself of as a 13 year old even tho I'm 19. There are more guys out there than you could imagine that ask me out thinking I'm an underage girl. There are also a ton who would never ask me out cause they think the same.

    I'd say it's about 50/50 as far as my experience has shown me. I've even had guys ask me to pretend to be 12-13 after they have learned my real age.

    I think, just based on sheer volume of males attracted to young girls, that something is wrong with consent laws. It seems a natural attraction and not some pervery thing, although there are definately creepy dudes as well.

    I think men are afraid to ask shorter young looking woman out someones because they don't know how old they are.

    I know I will often overlook these types in public because I often assume they are too young. It's probably frustrating for you but I would just keep in mind that it's not that men don't like you, you just have to try a little harder for them too see you for your age
