I think it would do well. Also, any child not in a stable family unit, as in single parents, will be taken away for adoption. I think this will help children and men, as women will not be so easily able to just have sex, get pregnant as planned, not caring at all about the man, only wanted to get pregnant despite not having a proper family unit, getting child support from the man as planned, and raising a child in a bad family unit.
This will make women have to find a man that is willing to commit to parenthood instead of simply not caring due to knowing they can get free money from the government or the man.
I do believe something like this should happen, as the family unit is getting destroyed day by day.
That's uh.. pretty harsh. My parents divorced and it was my father's fault that my Mother ended up being considered a single Mom as he did not want custody or to pay child support. Being taken away from my parents and possibly my sister would have ruined me. They were all I had. I'm sure you have a perfectly logical reason for stating this, but that reason would have done little to comfort me had my sister and I been removed from our family due to my parents' divorce. The notion just... disturbs me. I know families in which the parent is widowed, losing your parent and then being forcibly taken from the other..
I can see your point. I don't want to sound harsh, as I would also be in a similar situation as you if this happened, but sometimes the bad comes before the good. It's horrible, I know.
I think in the long run it would work greatly, but as you have explained, the trip to that road would be bumpy.
Your analogies are empty justifications, Duz. Pretty words. There's a big difference between the theoretical and the pratice and the practice of forcibly removing children from their families and the assumption that a single parent family can only be unstable is truly unjustifiable even in the sense of statistical data regarding likely outcomes for the children
There are already hundreds of thousands of kids waiting to be adopted in my country who will never be. To take kids out of their home due to the archaic belief that only a traditional nuclear family can serve as a stable and supportive family is by no stretch of any logic or rationale I know of sane
People should be required to have a parenting licence to have kids.

I'll have to agree to disagree here.
