People my age look like shit and i'm only 42?

So I ran across a couple of losers I knew in elementary school who were complete assholes to me, and they look terrible. Wrinkles, gray hair, balding. Sometimes I forget how old I am because I could easily pass for 30, but then I come across wrinkled pieces of shit like this and remember we were in the same grade.

They're simply nothing more than delicate star beings, prancing and dancing their way through the universe, a universe of love and flowers. A dimension of flouncing, pouncing, and bouncing ever so peacefully, to the sound of raindrops on flower peddles.

I can actually see where you're coming from. I've encountered the same phenomenon. I think it's partially due to genetics, and much to do with environment, lifestyle, stress levels and perception. Most of my oldest looking friends have many children and have been married for a long time, though not all of them. The youngest looking ones, though, are single with no children. It's partially lifestyle as well, since most people who are single with no children tend to be younger, that's the age group you're usually associated with if you're also single with no kids. I went back to college for a second degree, and having halted full time work until it was achieved put my peer level and experiences aligned with young adults from 19-28, so they mostly assumed I was around the same age. You're usually put into the same be routine, so running up flights of steps to make it to class on time and the continued learning I engaged in daily aligned my habits with those peers. Instead of relaxing at home, sitting and eating before sleeping, after 8+ hours stuck in a functional routine, I was doing active research, studying with classmates, learning and being tested on challenging new University level field knowledge. So it activated a lot of the same areas in the brain and body to make it "act younger." I also think in a very immature way for my age, juvenile, and often puerile. But I recognize when the vulgarity and pure insensitivity of expression might offend others, so I try to phrase things in a more productive way for myself. The biggest mistake one can make is to take the youthful looks they may have and equate it to acting immature, perhaps as a double mask. But adaptation to environment is key. The peace resulting from acting this way is one of the most effective factors in maintaining a positive, healthy and youthful visage. "When in Rome..."

Different people age at different levels. Be greatful if you look good and don't hate on those unfortunates that look as good as you. Just be content at the very least. Bless their health.

People you talk shit live in shit. There isn't an insult you can throw that isn't the manifestation of the way you see yourself. When you point the finger three point back to you. I hope at 42 years you can learn to forgive the actions of young children over 3 decades ago

  • Lol. Even though they were apparently assholes to you, I think you're still being a little conceded. You may look good know, but if you survive, you'll be as wrinkled and grey as them someday.

Not out of the realm of possibility. I am in my 70's and look way younger. I took out a membership at classmates.Com and had a look at some classmates. Some have aged terribly and some haven't. Good genes I guess.

Jared Leto. That guy is 40+ He's vegan. IDK if that's got a thing to do with it, but it's likely a healthy positive influence. Think about it. Vegan's lead a very anti-inflammatory, low toxin input, clean life, if they're health concious.

    Epigenetics, man.

I have a friend that is this vegan guy that's 44. He's got all silver hair. Actually, he dyes it for the gray look. He's only got a scattering of gray. This just gets him more modeling jobs.

I don't know this guy personally but, figure I can mention him. He's another vegan guy that's 42, I believe. Bald, not! He's got long golden brown hair. He does get told he looks like Jared Leto. Now, this guy you can check out on YouTube. He's "The Vegan Zombie".

It's all a matter of self care, and low stress living.

Most of these people don't have kids. They live rather self-fulfilling free lives. They can kind of do what they want.

A lot of people don't age well. Smoking, the sun worshippers, bad genes, the list is endless. Be thankful but don't be conceited.

It's normal. But any thought that makes you think you're superior to anyone is dangerous. Different, maybe. Having different focuses in life. I've taken the art of not giving a shit how I look to it's socially acceptable border.

Graying and balding at 42? That denotes a hard life of some very bad choices. The only piece of shit here is you.
