When I am in a group with people they tend to start laughing at me with almost everything I say.
Even though I am not saying anything funny.
If those people are laughing at you? you need to delete them form your circle.find some people who will like you for you none of this fake shit I like you kind a people. Life to short just saying
You may actually be funny to people and not know it. That can be based off of several different things.
Does this happen only with people who know you, or with people who you have never met before.
If its the later group - you are actually funny to them for some reason.
I can see two diferent posibilyts, or you are a natural comedian but dosen't found yourself funny, or they are fake and laught so you dont know how to proprelly pretend to care so they just laught to make you bealive they like what you said.
I don't know the details,so pls don't assume they are fake (which you problably wouldn't do it anyways, but wanted to make sure). Sorry if I said anything wrong
Example the radio mentioned a man jumped out at a traffic stop and ran after a cop with a knife and the cop shot him dead. The women were saying that he was obviously mentally ill and shooting him isnt the way to go. I said "Yes but it's good that he is out of the gene pool atleast. If he will stab the police he will stab us."
Then she goes on about working at the VA there was a PTSD soldier that turned a broom into a spear and it took 4 militsry police to restrain him. I said that it sounds like an exciting job.
Those are just two examples. I guess those do sound kind of funny now that I write them. But often times its not funny and I am being serious.
Neither of those anecdotes tickles my funny bone.
Maybe it's your delivery that's amusing to them - your timing, tone of voice, facial expression and body language. A lot of comedy is about putting a different twist on things that we all experience, so maybe your perspective on things is different enough to theirs that they find that funny.
