  • As a general rule people always look for reasons to justify why they and their lifestyle is better than others. That naturally involves cherry picking of isolated facts or opinions.

However, your focusing on the highest average wage (if true) is also cherry picking. For example - you have to consider at least the cost of living in an area.

The reality is that a large number of facts and opinions must be considered to identify the better places to live in the world.

I'm not sure if its possible to actually identify a #1 Country to live in the world due to cultural differences (which matter as well).

However, you can assemble a list of the likely top 10 countries to live in the world. I'd consider the USA to be in that list - although it is certainly not without its problems (all countries have problems).

    • When looking at all the numbers in total the USA is a lot better than its reputation is. Things are not as bad.

      • Take out heart disease and car crashes and america suddenly becomes like the rest of the 1st world countries in life expectancy.

In america you are free to make poor decisions (smoking and eating unhealthy) plus we have to drive practically everywhere because we are a massive nation that's very spread out.

      • I think you are cherry picking, since all those complaints are true. Also getting a car or even a liscense is harder for poor family. Also Obamacare some how destroyed healthcare. I don't qualify for any insurance but I can barely afford rent out here and was working two minumum wage jobs to pay for it. Also you realize minumum wage is not 15 right idiot?
