People can't tell when i'm joking

I think I used to be pretty funny. These days I find people can't tell when I'm joking. When I'm being serious or just making general statements people laugh like I'm hilarious. I'll say something I think is funny and people go silent and I have to add "that was a joke". Even my partner can't work out when I'm serious and when I'm joking.

I read somewhere: "It's not a joke if you're the only one laughing."

Maybe people laugh when you are serious because it comes across as dry humour, but when you try to make a joke it's too forced

Perhaps you are not as funny as you think you are. And perhaps you are forcing the humor too much. Maybe people are tired of your personality. Perhaps they don't really get your sense of humor. Lots of things to consider I suppose. Perhaps you just relax a little bit. Not sure if you are the "class clown" or "Mr. Sarcastic" but I find people are way more funny when they don't try to be.

No one understands where I'm coming from most of the time either. Plus I usually refuse to say "just kidding" or "just joking". If you don't get it, you don't get it.

It happens. Despite their humor, Jews seek money hard.

When you try to be funny, it normally is not.
