Well... that depends.

There's many things that can do this.

1) You're aroused. the increased blood flow to your appendage will darken it, possibly add a more purple color too, depending on your normal skin color there.

2) You dipped it in grape koolaid or paint. or got serviced by someone who just drank grape koolaid ...

3) It's your natural color anyway which would mean this is nothing new to you.

4) You've overexcited yourself but did not get a release yet.

I would recommend taking matters into your own hands (ahem) until you find release. If the color doesn't change after a few hours - assuming it's not #2 or 3 from my list - go talk to a doctor.

What colour is the rest of it? If all of it is purple then it isnt even a penis. Its a swollen bruise on your vagina

Amputation is the only option.

Have you been letting it hang out in the sun? That might explain the sudden change in colouration.
