what happens is you feel like you have something in your eye or eyes. You try to get it out and then when you finally get a long string of goop, it such a feeling of relief but he more you touch you eyes the more goop it produces and you are constantly thinking if you could get that one piece your eye/eyes will fill better. It the opposite you cant stop then your eyes get red and puffy - inside and out. Everyone is like what is wrong with you eye? And you say allergies or whatever. Then after your eyes are so sore you cant touch them you leave them alone without choice then you open your upper lid look under there and all the way up top you see a huge fat goop of sleep or whatever and you try rolling it down with your finger or a Q-tip. And the first time you get a piece of that it is like when you have sun burn and you peel and you pull the dry skin and you get a big piece of dead skin off and it feels good. This is called the ocular film, once you start pulling that it feels so great, but then the eyes start bleeding and that is NOT good at all. I am going through it right now. I hate it so bad. I have always had extremely sensitive itchy eyes - but this is awful. You know its a problem when you have to call of work for it. I had a real bad episode about 4 months ago and swore it off and did really good then on Sunday my eyes felt itchy I rubbed them one thing led to another and I missed work Monday and Tuesday. Good Luck! and Be careful
