Is it normal to think Parker would do a better job on Oak Island than the fools looking for treasure there?

I mean it is probably only the size of one of his cuts and he can find a grain of gold in tons of dirt. Surely he can find what's on Oak Island.

Sorry but I have given my youth to this show and they just dick around small scale. Are they poor or what?

Send Tony Beets and Parker to Oak Island and doze the fuck out of it and run everything through a trommel.

    whatever they find aint ever gonna be worth all the money theyve dumped into this mess

    also it drives me nuts how the narrator talks in vague questions

    Nuking it would solve the problem too, and it would make a great show.

    They'd be able to do a spectrographic analysis of the nuclear fireball and determine whether or not the ridiculous legend had any basis of truth.

    Haven't seen the show, but I assume it's yet yet more "reality" TV. The main mystery with that genre is how so many people believe what they see has any relationship with reality. Showing a bunch of highly-competent scientists with state of the art equipment and technicians with whizz-bang excavators going to work systematically is boring TV. They want a bunch of incompetent idiots arguing amongst themselves, making stupid decisions, and doing ridiculous stuff.

      But they don't use state of the art equipment and that baffles me. They drill little holes and use a metal detector or send a diver down a 5 foot tube. Wtf?

      It's going on 6 seasons now. Just bring in some dozers and excavators and tear it up.
