Parents: which gender child is easier to raise, generally speaking?

I’m an 18 Year old boy, so I have a lot of time to think about this, but, and this may sound egotistical, but I feel like my mom has a harder time taking care of my sisters than she has with me, so from my experience it seems like boys are easier to raise, but I’m curious what you think.

Boys 17
Girls 5

Girls are easy when they're young, boys are easy when they're teens. Girls are bad as teens. Who knows what unknown genders will do.

    • Sounds vague, but it really just depends on how they're raised imo. I'm a girl, but I became much quieter as I got into my teens for various reasons.

Yup. When boys hit the teen years they stop talking. Sure they get dragged home by the police more but at least their not screaming twenty four seven.

I've been a nanny for almost 15 years, worked with mostly boys. Until a few years ago, I would have said that while it really is down to the individuals, I found that boys were generally easier. Probably because that'sthe gender I have mkst experience with.

Then I had/have some total arsewipe male children I can't stand. They've been worse than any other kids I've had. Which isn't down to gender. It's down to the fact that those two kids are fuckin arseholes.

Just my opinion, boys are easier unless they have ADHD.

My daughter is the most stubborn hyper active kid I ever been around and she is only 2. I’m not looking forward to the teen years. I predict she will be even more stubborn and very rebellious.
