Parental creep intuition

Im curious to see if any other parents have observed this but there has been 2 occasions where I was with my wife and boy toddler and I got major creep vibes. Both times were at the same mall.

First time was a Mexican guy who also had a young boy with him that was probably 6. We were in the play area and the guy was showing so much attention to my son like almost obsessing over him and smiling ear to ear. He at one point spoke in spanish to his son and pointed to my son. The boy walked up to my son and then look dead into my eyes and looked back at the man and shook his head no. Then when he did that the man actually sat forward so he could see around the people beside him just so he could look at me then looked away and sat back in his seat. I immediately got up and grabbed my son and gave this guy the look like Ill kill him.

Then the second time was this weekend at the mall I'm walking out holding my son and some weirdo white guy was staring super hard at me in a really weird way. My wife even said when we left "did you see that guy? Wtf was that about?" And the guy had the look about him like he was the type to.... like them young

Have other parents here experienced creepy people like this?

    I’m not a parent but good on you for trusting your intuition around those creeps, especially that first one, personally I would have reported that incident to the police.

      The way he leaned forward to look around the people at me was so brazen and off. It was like a thief staring up at the counter before pocketing a candy bar.
