My boyfriend constantly checks my cell phone for text messages, phone calls, etc, like every day. He also checks my e-mail and facebook. He is so paranoid. Is this normal?

      Just because you are an ugly fat h*e doesn't mean you need to insult others because their boyfriends have issues. Try respecting yourself, respect others, and for god's sake stop insulting people online for an ego boost, that's just sad.

    It's normal, but don't let it get out of control. Talk to him about it. Don't fight because even if you aren't guilty it's going to make you look like you are.

    As far as I'm aware my boyfriend has never gone through my phone unless were looking at something on it not that he'd find anything untoward on there anyway and I've only been on his facebook once and that's because he left it logged in but I didn't snoop I just updated his status to something funny! You have to have lots of trust or else it won't work I know 1st hand x

    Thanks for your posts! Yeah he's been cheated on before, so I guess it's understandable. I've got nothing to hide anymore, since I don't talk to most of my exes. Trust me, I would not try to get with any of them! I love my bf and only want him. Hopefully his paranoia will fade in time. Until then,I won't take it too personally.

    i used to do this but its because of his insecruties like me i did it after my girlfriend left me for another lad then got back with me and denied ever having feelings for this lad, who was also her best friend which made it worse on me becuase he'd always talk to her or text her so i used to always check her phone out of fear of her leaving me again i was scared to relax incase it happened again because after the first time i was a mess i tryed to kill myself because she was all i knew for two years then poof she was gone and in the arms of some one else, maybe hes had this happen to him? or maybe its because he loves you so much that hes scared of losing you? either way its because of how much he cares for you

    ask him if he's ever been cheated on or cheated. That is what usually drives one's insecurities to snoop with their current partner.
