Very recently, I was watching, of all things, an episode of T.A.P.S....those paranormal investigators ( who are full-time plumbers). They talked about "EMF" readings in one episode where they where investigating a haunting in this woman's basement. She swore that she always felt someone behind her when she went down to this basement to do laundry. Turns out she had a light bulb and some improperly wired circuits that were exposed above her and just behind her. Those guys ran readings on the wiring and found the EMF (electromotive force) to be extremely high. Their conclusion was that EMF can cause the sensation of a presence or of someone being behind you. Hindsight being 20/20, I do remember buying a cheap electronic clock prior to many of these experiences I had and when I removed it from my room, these "visits" stopped.
