I just got my first pap smear today. I didnt think it was going to hurt that much. But i was nervous about the doc seeing my vag. But the pain was awful!! It hurt so much i cried really loud and i never cry over pain. I can usually tolerate it. Now im really afraid to get one again in 3 years. ( because im a virgin) im still in pain. It actually made my period come too soon.

Is It Normal?

    Maybe, the doctor hurt you on purpose?

    You seem to have a tolerance to pain and I've never heard of them causing pain so, it must be your doctor.

    You are supposed to get one 3 years before you plan to have intercourse. I am waiting till Im married but I dont know when Im getting married.... so I thought I would just get it over with.
