How the hell did you not know that pain-killers can make you fail a piss test? If they are prescribed to you, go back to the homeless shelter and tell them "Hey, I failed the piss test, I didn't realize these can cause you to pop dirty" and show them the bottle. I HAVE failed piss tests for prescription drugs and gotten off clean just by showing them the labeled bottle with my name on it.
In an interview, do the same thing. Tell them that you're on painkillers, they do not affect your work performance but you will probably pop dirty. No biggie. Unless you are on them and they aren't prescribed to you or you have a serious medical condition that would inhibit you from doing said job in the first place... then yes, biggie.
Well I somehow got THC positive. I not really sure how. The only thing I take is Ibuprofen and aspirin. I never even smokes cigarettes so I dont know how I got a negative. Since all I ever take is pain killers and I read online that stuff like Ibuprofen has before gotten fake positive for weed. I did tell them I use pain killers.
