Yes, you seem to have overprotective and controlling parents. There is not much you can do about that; parents usually believe what they are doing is right and good for you. They can only do what they have learned themselves.
Now that you are an adult, I would suggest you leave home as soon as you reasonably can. It is good that you chose a college far away. Try to live on campus, in residences, where there is the greatest concentration of other students. This will make it easier for you to socialize with others.
My mother was fairly controller and overprotective, and I had to spend a lot of time at home, on my own. As she was a music teacher, I was required to play a musical instrument, practicing several hours a day. And, my outdoor time was quite limited. Going to a college, far away from home, was one of the best things I ever did.
