and if they had implants would they have felt less loved? I'm not trying to be a jerk and you aren't either I'm sure but you come across as one with your false sense of implant detecting expertise and incorrect medical implications of boob jobs. And your complete lack of experience (or lack of awareness) with fake boobs.
How would you treat a love interest with fake boobs?
I already said, I defer to your greater experience in this area, yet you seem to have taken this as some sort of insult. Okay...
I'm 48. My limited experience with breast augmentation comes from a discussion I had with my mother (who had the procedure) when I was about 16, so some 32 years ago.
She was advised prior to the procedure (which she had some years before - not exactly sure how long) that it can affect the ability to breast feed, if she wanted more children. As she didn't that wasn't a concern.
Over the years, I have noticed that my now 70 year old mother has retained amazingly "perky" breasts - and personally I think it looks really odd.
My partners have known that I loved them for far more than their physical appearance, and none have ever felt the need to modify their body to look more pleasing to my, or anyone else's eyes. That said, if my partner decided she wanted to augment her breasts, I'd support her (as well as find out WHY she wanted this procedure - as it could be an indication of a greater problem - like feeling unloved etc).
As for a "love interest" who already had "fake boobs", I can't honestly answer that, having never had a "love interest" with augmented breasts. From the photographs I've seen on the internet, I generally don't find enhanced breasts attractive if they have been augmented to any noticeable degree.
Answer your question, or did you want to have a shot at me for something else?
Know better about what? Should I devote time and energy to researching breast augmentation when the topic has zero interest for me? Are all men over 40 thoroughly versed in breast augmentation?
I have no problem with people disagreeing with my views on anything, but empty negative statements like yours are pointless and boring.
You should be more aware of how little you really know and how you come across.
And you're probably a hypocrite because I doubt you're looking up pics of natural but deformed breasts. Yeah it's one thing to talk the nice guy talk and claim to love all breasts (except those icky augmented ones, that's perfectly ok) but really, of the last 100 boob pics you purposely saw, how many were "ideal" looking? Young, perky, pleasing...not national geographic tribal flapjacks or noticeably asymetrical. I'd wager most were nice and full (regardless of size) so try to translate all that into what it must feel like to be an actual woman with imperfect breasts.
Really? And I suppose you are fully aware of how unbelievably vast your own knowledge is and how terribly humble you come across as.
Out of all the comments against breast augmentation in this thread, how many have you launched into a tirade against eh? Obviously, my particular post must have been the most ill informed of the lot.
Now, I am not a woman with imperfect breasts - so obviously I can't empathise with the OP quite as well as you. I am however a male with my own share of imperfections, and can assure you that in spite of the fact there are numerous procedures a good plastic surgeon could employ to make me a little more perfect, I have never seriously considered surgery as an option.
Here it is again, succinctly, for you. I prefer natural breasts, with all their asymmetry and irregularities. I believe there are, or at least were health considerations that need to be looked at, such as the possibility of it affecting future breast feeding, or for the implant to rupture. I also believe that any DECENT human being considering a romantic partnership with the OP would be far more concerned about the OP as a person than whether she had some minor chest deformation or small breasts.
Now get busy badgering the rest of the posters in this thread for their views, or accept you are a total hypocrite and are just using my lack of in-depth knowledge on breast augmentation as an excuse to specifically attack me. Personally I don't give a shit either way.

Probably. Not that I am concerned.
